The website contains the full text of The Canadian Encyclopedia, the Youth Encyclopedia, the Encyclopedia of Music in Canada, Feature Articles, and selected articles from Maclean’s Magazine published since 1995. The Canadian Literary Centre is a collection of reference books and magazines concentrating on Canadian fiction and poetry. The database contains 160 books from three major reference series, and four periodicals that specifically focus on Canadian authors and their writings.

Canadian Music Periodicals Index
Compiled by the National Library of Canada, CMPI is an index of articles from Canadian music periodicals, with nearly 30,000 entries on articles dating from the late 19th century to the present. 500 Canadian music journals, newsletters and magazines are represented, almost 200 of which are currently active. Since 1999, significant articles on international music and musicians, published in Canadian periodicals, have been included.

Canadian Newsstream
Canadian Newsstream provides users with access to current Canadian news content with archives as far back as the 1970s, from almost 400 news sources. Newspapers including The Globe and Mail and Montreal Gazette along with newswires and broadcast transcripts in full-text format. Sherbrooke’s local newspaper, The Record, is also available through this database. Canadian Newsstream content is updated daily so researchers always have timely access to new information.
