All internal funding at Bishop’s University undergoes a competitive, peer-reviewed process adjudicated by the Senate Research Committee (SRC). The mandate of the SRC is to support, encourage, and develop research within the Bishop’s University academic community.

The ORGS offers support and assistance to the SRC. A full time Research Grants Officer and Research Administrator is dedicated to work with the SRC for the grant’s adjudication by verifying the candidates’ and the applications’ eligibility, preparing the assessment tools and ensuring the compliance of the evaluation process with the institutional and the programs’ instructions and policies. The Research Administrator compiles the recommendations of the committee prior to the adjudication and prepares the meeting.
