These webinars and workshops are aimed at new international students preparing for their arrival and for returning students on legal and administrative issues related to their status.

Lysange’s Virtual Office

Do you have questions about your international student status? Your obligations? Your arrival? Come and meet Bishop’s International Office Coordinator and Regulated International Student Immigration Advisor (RISIA), Lysange Gervais. These sessions are a 5-10 minute drop-in meeting period, every morning on Zoom. Come knock on the door of Lysange’s virtual office!

Every Tuesday and Thursday morning, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

International Student Orientation Session (in-person, mandatory if you are already on campus): 

At this Orientation Session, we will introduce you to the resources you have access to at Bishop’s, as well as what your journey at Bishop’s will look like. We will have a coffee break during this session that will allow us to interact.

Personalized Welcome for international students (in-person, mandatory):     

September 5 to September 16, 2022

A team of 5 ambassadors will be on campus to welcome you and give you important information to better start your semester: insurance, immigration documents, Bishop’s info (wifi, BUmail, Moodle, etc), integration, etc. You want to thrive as a student? This is the information you need!

Take part in the personalized welcome, meet our student ambassadors, and earn (very cute) stamps by gathering information.  Then drop your completed passport in the box at Bishop’s International Office (Paterson 101) and you could have the chance to win one of eight $25 Doolittle’s Coop card! You can collect the information in one time or in several times, according to your availability and the schedule below.
