How to Cancel an Appointment

Appointments are in high demand. If you cannot make yours, please cancel it as soon as possible so we can help someone else.

To cancel a medical appointment, please call or email us by 10:00 a.m., one working day before your scheduled visit. If your appointment is on Monday, call or email us by 10:00 a.m. the previous Friday.

Contact Information:

jill.johnson@ubishops.ca

Phone: 819-822-9696 or 819-822-9600 ext. 2696

We want to serve as many clients as possible, so please cancel your appointment if you no longer need it.

Late Cancellations / No Shows

Not cancelling your appointment or late cancellations can be costly. When you miss a scheduled medical appointment, or if you cancel after 10:00 a.m. one working day before your appointment, we consider it as a “no show” that we will record as a missed appointment in your medical chart and:

  • Charge you $30 for the first “no show” and for any subsequent missed appointments.
  • We will send you an email or call you about your missed appointment.
  • You will be required to pay the fee prior to seeing any of our doctors or nutritionist.
  • As of February 1, 2016, any outstanding fees owed to our doctors will be sent to the Business Office and added to your account if payment is not received within one week of notification.

If you are more than 15 minutes late, the appointment will be rescheduled for another time and the cancellation policy will be in effect.

We will, unfortunately, withhold services from you after three “no show”. You will be required to meet with the manager of Health Services, Kendra Brock, before being allowed to book another appointment with a doctor or health professional at our clinic.
