Non-Urgent Medical Needs

If you live in residence, the R.A. on your floor can usually direct you to the appropriate health care facility when Health Services is closed.

811 Info-Santé

Info-Santé 8-1-1 is a free and confidential telephone consultation service.

Dialling 8-1-1 promptly puts you in contact with a nurse in case of a non-urgent health issue. The service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. All people living in Quebec can call Info-Santé 8-1-1 for themselves or their close family.

Do you need to consult a doctor when Health Service is closed?  Here are your options:

For Emergencies

If your problem is urgent, you should go to the nearest emergency room at a local hospital.

Ambulance

If an ambulance is required while you’re on campus, contact the Security department at 819-822-9711 or at ext. 2711 and they will call one and direct it to your room. The cost of an ambulance is the responsibility of the student.
