Undergraduate Applications to the School of Education

Timeline:

Round One Evaluations:

• Application Window: pre-December 1st
• Application Deadline: December 1st, 2025
• Round One Decisions: by December 15th, 2025
• Confirmation of Attendance Deadline: January 30th, 2026.

Round Two Evaluations:

• Application Window: December-January
• Application Deadline: February 1st, 2026
• Round Two Decisions: by February 13th, 2026
• Confirmation of Attendance Deadline: April 3rd, 2026.

Round Three Evaluations:

• Application Window: February-March
• Application Deadline: April 1st, 2026
• Round Three Decisions: by April 17th, 2026
• Confirmation of Attendance Deadline: June 1st, 2026.

Note: Programs with capacity will remain open for consideration past April 1st and be evaluated on an individual basis.

Process:

There are three regular rounds of admissions evaluations for the School of Education at Bishop’s University.

Applicants who apply and submit all necessary supporting documentation by a given round’s application deadline will be considered for admission by the decision date listed. Successful candidates will be offered admission and will have until that round’s Confirmation of Attendance deadline to accept their offer.

Any applicant whose file is still active who does not qualify for admission in a given round will have their file moved forward to the next round for future consideration.

All active applicants will be updated as to their latest status by the decision dates listed above.

In the weeks leading up to the Confirmation of Attendance deadline of a given round, any applicant who has not yet accepted their offer of admission will be sent a reminder. If for whatever reason the applicant does not accept their offer by the deadline provided, their file will remain open for consideration for the following round at the student’s request, provided the notification is received by the Admissions Office by that round’s deadline. The file would be moved to the end of the priority list for the next round’s application window. Applicants in this situation could either be waitlisted or re-offered for that window, depending on capacities.
