Interested in Going Abroad in 2026-2027?

Application deadlines for an exchange in 2026-2027 are:

• Australia / Japan: January 3^rd, 2026
• All other countries: January 31^st, 2026

The information sessions for the International Mobility Program for 2026-2027 have taken place.  If you did not attend one of these sessions, you are not eligible to take part this year.

October 8^th at 7:00 p.m. in Cleghorn (McGreer-200)
October 23^rd at 6:00 p.m. in Cleghorn (McGreer-200)
November 14^th at 4:00 p.m. in Cleghorn (McGreer-200)
November 24^th at 5:00 p.m. in Cleghorn (McGreer-200)
December 2^nd at 7:00 p.m. in Cleghorn (McGreer-200)

What You Need to Know

• You need a 70% cumulative average;
• You need to be a student in good standing;
• You need to complete 30 credits at BU before you can go; 
  *Transferred credits do not count. 
  ** 30 credits before you leave for your exchange and not 30 credits at the time of your application. 
• Choose between 1 or 2 semesters, for a maximum of 30 credits; 
• You will need to have a valid passport; 
• You will need to be a full-time student, taking 12 or 15 credits each semester; 
• You will pay Bishop’s tuition and student fees for 15 credits per semester; 
• You will pay accommodations, meals, transportation, travel visa and other costs abroad; 
• You may be eligible for a mobility bursary of a minimum of $1,000 per month while on exchange.
