Information Sessions

Planning to Study Abroad in 2027–2028?

Please note that applications for the 2026–2027 academic exchange cycle are now closed.

Students interested in applying for the 2027–2028 academic cycle must attend at least one information session to be eligible to apply.

Information Session Dates:

• October 1, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. – Thursday
• October 6, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. – Tuesday
• October 19, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. – Monday
• October 28, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. – Wednesday

Location: Cleghorn (MCG-200), McGreer Hall

Important: Attendance will be recorded as the information session is a prerequisite for application eligibility.

Application Deadlines to Study Abroad (2027–2028 Cycle)

• Australia / Japan: January 3, 2027
• All other destinations: January 31, 2027

Exchange Program Eligibility & Requirements

• You need a 70% cumulative average;
• You need to be a student in good standing;
• You need to complete 30 credits at B.U. before you can go; 
  *Transferred credits do not count. 
  ** 30 credits before you leave for your exchange and not 30 credits at the time of your application. 
• Choose between 1 or 2 semesters, for a maximum of 30 credits; 
• You will need to have a valid passport; 
• You will need to be a full-time student, taking 12 or 15 credits each semester; 
• You will pay Bishop’s tuition and student fees for 15 credits per semester; 
• You will pay accommodations, meals, transportation, travel visa and other costs abroad; 
• You may be eligible for a mobility bursary of a minimum of $1,000 per month while on exchange.
