Tickets

No. There are no fees associated with the graduation process and graduands can attend their Convocation Ceremony free of charge.

However, this is a ticketed event and guest tickets must be purchased.

Yes, graduands must RSVP for them and for their guests. The deadline is May 30, 2025.

If your guests have mobility issues, please indicate this when you RSVP and we will ensure that appropriate seating is available.

Each graduand is able to purchase a maximum of four (4) guest tickets for the live ceremony, due to the limited seating capacity of the Denver Gymnasium. The ticket price is $35 per guest.

Tickets are sold online and immediately available after purchase. See the Guest Tickets web page for instructions. Any unsold tickets will be available as of June 3, 2025.

Additionally, the ceremonies will be live streamed. A link to this live stream will also be available on our website for friends and family who are unable to attend in person.

Each graduand can purchase up to four guest tickets. Please note that the ticket sale for the 2025 Convocation Morning and Afternoon Ceremonies is now closed.

Children under 5 years old do not need a guest ticket to attend the ceremony in the Denver Gym. However, they must sit on the lap of their accompanying adult, as they will not be assigned a seat unless a guest ticket is purchased for them.

Please keep in mind that the ceremony typically lasts two to three hours, and children must remain with their group for the entire event.

For a more comfortable experience, we recommend the BU Skillz Lab (VIP lounge) in the Sports Centre, where the Convocation Ceremony will be live-streamed. This space offers more room to move around, making it a better option for guests attending with young children.
