Student mental health is essential to their academic success as well as their ability to participate meaningfully throughout all aspects of their lives.
Managing your mental health during COVID-19
Since March, some students may be developing feelings of fear, stress, worry and isolation—these feelings are natural when facing situations that are beyond our control. Everyone reacts differently to these feelings, which can be overwhelming for some.
It’s important to understand that if you need help in coping with these feelings, our counsellors are here for you.
Should you require assistance for an emergency situation outside of the regular operating hours, please call Bishop’s Security Department at 819-822-9711 or from a phone on campus ext. 2711. You can also call Info-Santé by dialing 811 or Urgence Détresse at 819-780-2222.
You can also contact Empower Me Mental Health and Wellness Support for 24 hour/7 day per week confidential counselling support at 1-833-628-5589.
