Fannie Gaudette to Present New Show “UNE VIE” on March 8th

On March 8th, the singer-songwriter Fannie Gaudette will present her new show “UNE VIE” at Rucher Boltonnois. With the support of the Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec (CALQ), Gaudette developed the performance during a creation residency in December 2024, collaborating with an experienced creative and technical team. Gaudette shares: “The CALQ grant allowed me to work on staging with Gaële Tavernier, refine the arrangements with my musicians, and work with Denis Savage on technical direction and sound design.”

The show features an original lineup: voice/piano, violin, and double bass, creating a unique sound for Gaudette’s original songs. Accompanied by Philippe Dunnigan (violin) and Mathieu Désy (double bass), Fannie presents an intimate performance where each instrument contributes to the storytelling. “UNE VIE” unfolds as a musical narrative representing different life chapters.

Gaudette is also working on a second album, with the first single “Maman dit statue” available online. A second track, “Humains en pièces détachées,” featuring French artist Albin de la Simone, will be released in Fall 2025. Tickets for “UNE VIE” are available through the Rucher Boltonnois online box office: https://rucherboltonnois.net/Billetterie.
