Kylie Côté has been working at Bishop’s University since 2006. Before taking on the role of Vice-Principal Finance and Administration (VPFA), she held the positions of Acting Interim Secretary General, Manager of Ancillary Services, Financial Planning Analyst, Business Analyst and Senior Accountant.

After graduating from Bishop’s in 1999 with a BBA in Finance, Kylie spent some time working in a financial institution and in private industry before returning to B.U. as an employee, where she has contributed to the financial administration of the University and the Bishop’s University Foundation in various capacities.

As a graduate of the University, Kylie believes strongly in the educational model that Bishop’s offers and is passionate about contributing to the success of the institution so that future students can benefit from the same exceptional experience.

VPFA Responsibilities

The Vice-Principal Finance and Administration shall:

  • Act as Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of the University. 
  • Assume responsibility for the University’s operating and capital budgeting processes, general accounting and financial reporting and shall oversee all major capital projects.  
  • Manage the University’s relationships with its financial institutions.  
  • Ensure the effective management of the physical plant, buildings and grounds, and physical environment of the University.  
  • Ensure compliance with the University’s internal administrative policies and shall oversee internal controls and procedures mandated by laws and regulations.
