Bishop’s is a small university with a big mission: to help students reach their potential and prepare them well for their next steps in life.
At Bishop’s we are committed to providing the very best learning experience and opportunities for our students. The hallmarks of our challenging academic programs are small classes and close interactions between students and faculty. We complement the learning that happens in the classroom with internships, co-op programs and practica that provide new experiences outside of class. Our vibrant arts scene and over 100 clubs, teams and student organizations make Bishop’s a place where students can find outlets for creative expression, develop leadership skills, and build life-long friendships.
We believe that, in addition to living in a closely knit campus community, students should become responsible global citizens. With more than ten percent of our students coming from outside of Canada, over 500 university exchange partners around the world, and numerous programs with an international focus, Bishop’s opens up a world of opportunities.
A Bishop’s education prepares students for the world of today and tomorrow. That’s why, for generations, Bishop’s graduates have gone on to succeed in all walks of life – business, the arts, politics, education, law and medicine are just a few. Their success is Bishop’s success.
If you are new to the Bishop’s community, I offer you my warmest welcome. If you are a recent graduate or a long-time alum, then I ask you to please keep in touch, return to campus often, and share the story of your own Bishop’s experience with everyone you can.
