Deadline For Payment of Fees

All students registering at Bishop’s University are required to pay their tuition and student fees each semester before the deadline dates listed below. Payments must be received and processed by the date listed below. To avoid late fees and interest charges, make your payment at least five business days ahead of the applicable deadline.

Deadlines:

  • Winter semester: January 31
  • Spring semester: May 31
  • Fall semester: September 30

Late Payment Charges

If payment for the amount owed is not received in full by the deadline, a $65 late payment charge will be applied to the account in the days following the payment deadline. Additionally, monthly interest charges will be applied to overdue balances at the end of each month. The interest rate is 15% per annum (1.25% per month).

Paying After the Deadline?

If you’re paying your tuition and student fees shortly after the deadline, the $65 late fee may not yet appear on your account—but it will be added soon. To avoid having an outstanding balance and any related consequences, please add $65 to your payment now. If you don’t include it, your account will still show an amount owing once the fee is processed.

Consequences of Late Payments

To access course registration, your student account must be in good standing, with all fees paid in full. If you have an unpaid balance, you will not be able to access official university documents such as transcripts, final grades, or confirmations of enrolment.

If you’re experiencing financial difficulties, please contact Student Accounts to discuss your situation—we’re here to help.
