In the Fall and Winter semesters, Bishop’s University will be running POL 352 & POL 354 and sending a
team to the National Model United Nations simulation. This event is the world’s largest university-level
simulation of the United Nations, bringing together more than 7,000 delegates from five continents in
two distinct sessions. Held in New York City, each simulation includes more than twenty committees
meeting throughout the four-day event.

You are invited to submit an application to be considered for NMUN 2025-26 team to: Dr. Sarah-Myriam Martin-Brûlé (smartin@ubishops.ca).

You must submit your application by August 15th, 2025.

The prerequisites for this course are:
* POL 140 – International Relations

and one of:
›* POL 241 – International Affairs
›* POL 242 – International Organizations

Your application package must include:
›* a letter of intent
›* a CV/Resume
›* your academic transcript (can be a printout of your unofficial transcript from myBU)

A Selection Committee will evaluate each application and will be in contact the following week.
Be advised that, if accepted, that there are additional costs to this course because it involves travel (including an additional course fee of $400.00 and a specific amount of fundraising at a later time will be required).
