This event will bring together researchers, students, and experts to explore pressing issues at the intersection of digital media, technology, and society.

We are honored to welcome Dr. Anabel Quan-Haase as our keynote speaker. Dr. Quan-Haase is a Full Professor and Associate Dean of Sociology and Information and Media Studies at Western University. As the director of the SocioDigital Media Lab, her research focuses on social change, social media, and social networks, emphasizing novel methodologies and interdisciplinary approaches. Dr. Quan-Haase is the coeditor of the Handbook of Social Media Research Methods (Sage, 2022) and the Handbook of Computational Social Science (Routledge, 2022), as well as the author of Technology and Society (Oxford University Press, 2020). With over 100 peer-reviewed publications, her insights are widely recognized in both academic and media circles.
