Guest Tickets

Each graduand may purchase a maximum of four (4) guest tickets for the live Ceremony. Tickets are $35 per guest (taxes included).

Guests cannot purchase tickets for themselves. Only the graduand can purchase tickets for their guests, using the link below.

Graduands do not need a ticket to attend the Ceremony.

Convocation guest tickets are sold online via the Bishop’s Athletics Ticketing platform.

The Convocation Ceremonies are held in the Denver Gymnasium located at the John H. Price Sports Centre on the first floor (E4 on the campus map). The tickets are general admission and do not include assigned seating. Seating on chairs and bleachers is offered and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tickets must be purchased by credit card.

IMPORTANT:

  • Any existing accounts set up with a personal email account will not have access to purchase Convocation Ceremony tickets.
  • If graduands have already an existing account set up with their B.U. email address to purchase tickets for a Gaiters event, they have to reach out to convocation@ubishops.ca.
  1. Graduands must register on the Bishop’s Athletics Ticketing platform with their student B.U. email address, setting their own password. They can login by clicking on the “Log In / Register” button at the top corner of the website:

  1. After registering, they will receive an automatic email from AudienceView to their B.U. email account.
  2. Graduands will see all the upcoming events with tickets on sale. They need to select the ceremony they are expected to attend. They can also narrow down the list using the search bar:

Graduands will only be able to buy the guest tickets for the Convocation Ceremony they are eligible to attend (morning or afternoon). Which Ceremony graduands can attend is set according to the degree with which they are graduating. To know which Ceremony the graduands can attend, check the Convocation Ceremony Schedules web page.

  1. Graduands can choose the number of guest tickets they want to purchase (maximum: four tickets).
  2. After purchasing the tickets, graduands will receive an order confirmation email containing the guest tickets from AudienceView and an electronic payment receipt including a 6-digit code. Their payment details will include the statements below since the tickets are sold on the same platform as Gaiters sports events:
    • “This is a confirmation email for your Bishop’s University I Athletics Ticketing order.”
    • “You will see a charge on your credit card from: BISHOPS GAITERS”.
  1. Graduands should download their guest tickets as a PDF and share them with their guests, who will need to present them at the entrance on Convocation Day. This ensures that all ticket details, including any purchased options, are correctly displayed.

It is mandatory to keep the electronic receipt (printed or electronic) for the Convocation Ceremony check-in and for refund requests.

Please note that the Morning and Afternoon Ceremony guest tickets for the 2026 Convocation Ceremony are sold out.

Please note that the total number of guest tickets, including additional tickets, per graduand is eight.

Children under 5 years old do not need a guest ticket to attend the ceremony in the Denver Gym. However, they must sit on the lap of their accompanying adult, as they will not be assigned a seat unless a guest ticket is purchased for them.

Please keep in mind that the ceremony typically lasts two to three hours, and children must remain with their group for the entire event.

For a more comfortable experience, we recommend the BU Skillz Lab (VIP lounge) in the Sports Centre, where the Convocation Ceremony will be live-streamed. This space offers more room to move around, making it a better option for guests attending with young children.

Graduands can request a refund of guest tickets if their plans change by reaching out to convocation@ubishops.ca with their electronic payment receipt. The amount will be reimbursed on the same credit card they used for the purchase, by their credit card company. Please allow a few business days for the refund process.

  1. Click on the option “Forgot password?” on the Bishop’s University Athletics Ticketing login page and enter your Bishop’s email address:

  1. If the address entered is correct, you will receive an automated link from AudienceView by email, containing a new temporary password.
  2. You can then login and set a new password.
