Convocation Ceremony Schedules | Bishop's University

The Convocation Ceremony is divided into two ceremonies, the Morning Ceremony and the Afternoon Ceremony, according to the different degrees.

The 2026 Bishop’s Convocation Ceremony will follow this schedule:

Morning Ceremony – Saturday, June 6, 2026, 10:00 a.m.

Bachelor of Arts (BA) – Business
Bachelor of Arts (BA) – Education
Bachelor of Science (BSc) – Education

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Master of Arts (MA)

Morning Convocation Ceremony Check-in for Graduands

You must check in on Friday, June 5th, 2026 between 1:30 and 6:00 p.m. or Saturday, June 6th, between 7:30 and 9:00 a.m. in the Hamel Lounge in the Sports Centre (E4 on campus map). Here you will receive your academic regalia for the ceremony. Please keep in mind that you must return your gown and hood after the ceremony.

You must arrive between 9:15 and 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 6th, at the main entrance to the Sports Centre adjacent to Coulter Field (E1 on campus map). Please arrive already wearing your academic regalia.

Our staff will assist you in lining up under the overhang outside in preparation for their entrance to the Ceremony.

Morning Convocation Ceremony Check-in for Guests

The Denver Gym, in the Sports Centre (E4 on campus map) opens the doors at 9:15 a.m., on Saturday, June 6th. All guests are asked to be seated no later than 9:45 a.m. as the Ceremony will start promptly at 10:00 a.m.

The Ceremony is followed by a reception on the TD Terrasse. All guests are welcome to attend the reception.
