Interested in Going Abroad in 2026-2027?

Application deadlines for an exchange in 2026-2027 are:

• Australia / Japan: January 3^rd, 2026
• All other countries: January 31^st, 2026

Do not miss our information sessions: 

October 8^th at 7:00 p.m. in Cleghorn (McGreer-200)

October 23^rd at 6:00 p.m. in Cleghorn (McGreer-200)

November 14^th at 4:00 p.m. in Cleghorn (McGreer-200)

November 24^th at 5:00 p.m. in Cleghorn (McGreer-200)

December 2^nd at 7:00 p.m. in Cleghorn (McGreer-200) – LAST CHANCE!!!

It is MANDATORY to attend AT LEAST ONE of the information sessions to be eligible to go abroad. To give us an idea of the number of participants, please register online for info sessions. 

What You Need to Know

• You need a 70% cumulative average;
• You need to be a student in good standing;
• You need to complete 30 credits at BU before you can go; 
  *Transferred credits do not count. 
  ** 30 credits before you leave for your exchange and not 30 credits at the time of your application. 
• Choose between 1 or 2 semesters, for a maximum of 30 credits; 
• You will need to have a valid passport; 
• You will need to be a full-time student, taking 12 or 15 credits each semester; 
• You will pay Bishop’s tuition and student fees for 15 credits per semester; 
• You will pay accommodations, meals, transportation, travel visa and other costs abroad; 
• You may be eligible for a mobility bursary of a minimum of $750 per month while on exchange.
