We just got back from Spring Awakening. It is, without question, one of the best things of any kind (I include sports, conferences and events of other kinds) I’ve ever seen at Bishop’s. The singing and music was absolutely spellbinding from the first song to the last. The business with the hanging lights was hypnotic. I loved that every single moment was choreographed. The difference that makes in sharpness of dialogue and moving the story is unbelievable. And the story itself – absolutely heart-rending. I barely made it through the final song. What a triumph for the Musical Theatre program!

The quality of the acting is impressive… Everyone managed to truly embody their characters. Whether in song, dialogue, or expression, the actors perform with both passion and lightness for two hours.
