We are getting the B.U. Gaiters back together – don’t miss out! Bishop’s University is hosting a huge 20th Century Gaiters Reunion on September 25-27, 2026, and it will be an unforgettable weekend. This reunion is for all Gaiters athletes from the 20th Century. The goal is simple: reconnect, reminisce and celebrate what we shared at B.U. This reunion is a once-in-a-generation event! This event will kick off our Gaiters Reunion in a relaxed atmosphere, where you can mix and  mingle with all registrants. The dress code is casual. Hors d’oeuvres will be served, and you will be provided with one drink ticket. A cash bar will be also available.

Join us in honouring Bob Goldberger ’79 for his extraordinary impact on Bishop’s University Athletics as a volunteer leader, philanthropist, and advocate for student-athletes.

Alumni & Friends Family Lunch Sponsored by TD Insurance – Saturday, September 26, 2026 – 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. – TD Terrace
Enjoy the nice weather and some good food prepared by Café Caus at a private, laid-back lunch for B.U. alumni of all ages and their friends and family. There will be activities and a cash bar available. Food available between 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

“PROUD in PURPLE” Celebration – Saturday, September 26, 2026 – 6:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. – Delta Hotel Sherbrooke
Join us for a special Gaiters Cocktail Hour starting at 6:00 p.m., followed by a fun-filled night with dinner, music, dancing, stories with your teammates, a photographer, and other memorable activities! A cash bar will also be available. We’d love for everyone to wear a little purple and show their Gaiters pride! If you want to freshen up your B.U. wardrobe, the Gaiters Boutique has you covered (see below).

Gaiters Boutique
The Gaiters Boutique will open an online store in the spring and early summer where you can order your updated Gaiter apparel, pay online, and have it delivered to your home address before Labour Day! All sizes available.
Stay tuned for online store dates and details to get yourself ‘Gaiterized’ before you arrive for the 20th Century Reunion Celebration! In addition, the Gaiters Boutique will be open for the entire celebration where you can pick up additional B.U. merch and anything you may have missed with the online store!

Hotel Accommodations
The deadline to book a room at Delta Hotels Marriott Sherbrooke at the Reunion discounted rate has now passed, and no additional rooms have been reserved for our group. Guests who wish to stay at the hotel may contact Delta Hotels Marriott Sherbrooke directly to inquire about current availability and rates.

Parking
Parking is limited but will be available throughout campus over the weekend. Parking is free after 5 p.m. on Friday and all weekend. Consult the full Bishop’s Parking policy.

2026 Bishop’s University Homecoming
Registration for all other 2026 Homecoming activities organized by the Alumni Relations & Philanthropy Office will be released at a later date, including the Jeff Cannon Memorial Golf Tournament, Post-Game Get-Together, Educational Tours. There may be additional costs for some of these events.

FAQs

The dress code for all Reunion events is casual. Most importantly, everyone is encouraged to wear as much Bishop’s purple as possible.  

While we cannot issue a refund, we transform your payment into a donation to the Reunion and issue you a tax receipt.  

  • From September 23 to 24, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.: at Griffin House 
  • On Friday, September 25 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.: at Griffin House. 
  • On Friday, September 25, from 3:30 to 9 p.m.: 2nd floor of the John H. Price Sports Center 
  • On Saturday, September 26, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.: 2nd floor of the John H. Price Sports Center 
  • On Saturday, September 26, from 6 to 7 p.m.: at Delta Hotel Sherbrooke

There are several parking lots on campus, which can all be found on the campus map.  

Please note there will be no overnight parking in P1 from Friday, September 24 to Saturday, September 25 to allow for preparations for the Tailgate on Saturday. Any cars left overnight will be towed.  

Parking is free on weekdays after 5 p.m. and on weekends. Consult the parking regulations for more information.

Yes, there are designated smoking areas on campus. Consult the smoking policy for more information.  

The Gaiters Boutique, located at the John H. Price Sports Centre, will be open during the following times: 

  • Thursday, September 24: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. 
  • Friday, September 25: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. 
  • Saturday. September 26: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 
  • Sunday, September 27: 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. 

The boutique will also have a pop-up stand in the Fan Zone by the stadium open from 10 a.m. to half-time on Saturday, September 26. 

Doolittle’s will be open during the following times: 

  • Thursday, September 24: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
  • Friday, September 25: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
  • Saturday. September 26: 2 to 7 p.m. 

They will also have a pop-up stand in the Fan Zone by the stadium open from 11 a.m. to the end of the game on Saturday, September 26.

Your reunion bracelet is what identifies you as a reunion participant to various on-campus departments. It is the ONLY way to gain your free access to all sporting events (excluding football – see Football FAQ for more information), to gain entry to the Alumni-Exclusive Gait Night, to get your free TD Lunch, and to gain entry to the Proud in Purple Banquet.

For the Football Game, a physical ticket will be included in your gift bag. You MUST present this physical ticket (not your bracelet) to access the football game. This ticket grants access to End Zone seating only.

Please note:

  • All fans must enter through the Fan Zone.
  • The Fan Zone opens at 11:00 a.m.
  • Once inside the Fan Zone, you may proceed to the End Zone entrance with your physical ticket in hand.
  • The stadium opens at 11:30 a.m.
  • Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend arriving early to claim your seat.
