Dr. Marko Biberdzic Receives Funding from SSHRC-CRSH-Insight Development Grant

Dr. Marko Biberdzic has received funding from the SSHRC-CRSH Insight Development Grant for his research project titled Les facteurs prédicteurs du phénomène de l’imposteur à l’adolescence et ses répercussions sur le fonctionnement psychosocial et scolaire.

His research project focuses on the imposter phenomenon in adolescence, aiming to explore its impact on identity development, psycho-social functioning, and academic engagement. The study uniquely examines how parenting factors, specifically perceived overprotection and conditional parental support, contribute to the emergence of imposter feelings. His research lays the groundwork for a future longitudinal study and a leading voice in youth mental health research.
