Get a high-quality undergraduate business education
The B.B.A. program offers the most in-depth approach to business studies. B.B.A. students can select among seven concentrations and among six minors to develop complementary knowledge and competencies. We also offer a Co-operative Education program and an Honours program.
Program Structure
The B.B.A. has four components for a total of 120 credits:
- Core curriculum (42 credits)
- Required concentration courses (21 credits except for accounting that requires 39 credits)
- Optional concentration courses (21 credits except for accounting that has 3 optional credits)
- Electives (36 credits)
Concentrations
Consult the Academic Calendar for detailed information about academic program requirements, policies, procedures, regulations, course descriptions, prerequisites, etc. It is recommended that students review their program completion plan each semester as some courses may only be offered once a year or only on alternate years.
We encourage you to seek academic advising as early as possible for guidance and support with academic planning, to review your progression and program completion plan. The WSB Academic Advisor can be reached at wsbadvisor@ubishops.ca.
Minors
B.B.A. students can also choose among six minors to add to their program in order to develop complementary knowledge and competencies.

- Entrepreneurship
- Finance
- Human Resources
- International Business
- Marketing

Co-Operative Education
The Co-operative Education Program combines a student’s academic program with integrated paid work experiences through full-time work terms and regular academic sessions. The work terms are designed to present the students with the opportunity to blend theory and practice and to gain relevant work experience.
Please visit the Co-op Education page for more information about this program.
B.B.A Honours
The Honours program offers students the opportunity to complete a thesis project under the guidance and supervision of one or more faculty members from the WSB.
Students will select a topic in collaboration with a professor in their concentration area and will enroll in two courses over two terms to complete the project (BMG352 in fall and winter for a total of 6 credits). Honours credits count as Business optional courses and can also be applied toward the 120-credit B.B.A. program, depending on the student’s individual academic pathway. In addition to the thesis, students must fulfill all the requirements of their regular B.B.A. degree program.
The Honours program is particularly well-suited for students intending to pursue graduate studies.
