Why Study Teaching and Learning at the Elementary Level at Bishop’s?

The Elementary teacher education program at Bishop’s University leads to a Bachelor of Education in Teaching and Learning. This degree is required in order to be eligible for a teaching permit or “brevet d’enseignement”. Students are prepared to teach a broad range of subjects that can be found in the elementary curriculum, including English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Culture and Citizenship in Quebec, and the Creative Arts.
