The Robson Rugby Fund

Established in 1976, the Bishop’s Gaiters Men’s Rugby program has a proud tradition of excellence both on and off the field. Under the leadership of legendary coach Bill Robson, who played a pivotal role in building and shaping the program into one of Canada’s respected university rugby teams, the team captured its first conference championship in 1990 and went on to claim additional titles in 1992, 1993, 1994, 1998, and 2003. Today, the Gaiters continue to compete at a high level while developing student-athletes who demonstrate leadership, resilience, and dedication. We are also excited to welcome Fred Asselin as the new Head Coach of the program as he leads the team into its next chapter. Your support helps provide student-athletes with enhanced training opportunities, equipment, travel resources, and the tools they need to succeed academically and athletically.
