DEC-BAC Agreements - Bishop's University

Bishop’s has a number of DEC-BAC agreements in place to eliminate course duplication and put students on a faster track. Cegep students who complete a 3-year DEC-BAC program may be eligible to receive advanced standing credit upon admission.

The usual admission criteria apply regarding minimum R-Score and required courses. For this agreement to apply, the delay between the completion of the college program and the entrance in the university program must be less than five (5) years.

***Applications from Cegeps and programs other than the ones we signed an agreement with will be analyzed on a case-by-case basis and may be eligible to receive advanced standing credit.

The advanced credits awarded according to these agreements are limited to the specified university programs. If a student leaves the university program for any reason, the awarded advanced credits will be removed and will not apply to another program that the student may choose, unless the other program’s Department Chair decides otherwise.
