Limits of confidentiality

Confidentiality may be limited where there is:

• Immediate risk of serious harm.
• Risk to a minor.
• A legal obligation to act.

Information may be used in a de‑identified way to:

• Provide support.
• Identify patterns.
• Improve prevention and safety.

Information is stored securely in accordance with university policy and Quebec privacy law.
