Bishop’s University looks forward to welcoming you to our cross-country ski trails located at the Old Lennox Golf Club.

In partnership with Club de ski du Parc du Mont-Orford, we offer over 7KM of groomed trails. Over 5KM of our trails are FIS (Fédération Internationale de Ski) certified.

In 2019 and 2020, Bishop’s hosted several competitive ski races, including the Quebec Cup and Ontario Cup – see below. Our trails vary in difficulty from novice to expert. All trails are well indicated on the map on-site.

Ski Membership and Rates for 2020-2021:

The membership rates and daily entrance fees are as follows:

  • Family (2 parents & 2 children aged 17 or younger): $115 plus taxes
  • Adult: $50 plus taxes
  • Youth (17 years old and younger): $15 plus taxes
  • BU Students: FREE
  • Daily Entrance Fee: $5

Daily Conditions & Opening Hours:

Our trails will open as soon as we have enough snow to groom!  Trails are open 24 hours, 7 days a week, with the exception of race days and private group bookings. Trails are maintained daily and groomed in accordance to snow fall / climate using our new groomer.

The golf clubhouse will serve light snacks and refreshments, including bar, during opening hours.


  • The instructions and directives of the Public Health of the Government of Quebec are currently in effect. Refer to the website CIUSSE du Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Sherbrooke.
  • Please be advised that it is forbidden to bring your dog at the Old-Lennox Golf & Ski for a stroll around course. The presence of dogs at OLGS can damage ski trails and disturb its wildlife, which includes white tail deer, red fox, wild turkey and others living in and around the property.

Welcome to the Gaiter Family Gilles Lefebvre!

Gilles is the decorated head coach of the Orford Ski Club and will work with students to grow cross country skiing at Bishop’s University. His impressive resume includes coaching 6 national champions, coaching at the 2011 and 2019 Canada Games and a three-time Merite Sportif Estrie finalist in the elite coaching category. He is NCCP Level 4 certified and has run a training camp in Germany and Austria for the last 13 years. Bienvenue Gilles!
