If your activity is not listed in the database, please see the information below:TimelinePlease note that new requests for positions, not currently listed in the LEAP program, will be accepted during the following time periods:Fall Semester: from September 10 to November 2, 2019.Winter Semester: from January 7 to March 2, 2020.On-campus activitiesSTUDENTS: Please contact the person who will act as VALIDATOR of the activity (Bishop’s faculty, staff or SRC Executive). The Validator can then submit a request for LEAP recognition including the required information listed below.VALIDATORS: To have an on-campus activity added to the LEAP Activities Directory, please send an email to the LEAP Coordinator with the information listed below: Validator’s name (BU faculty, staff or SRC Executive). Validator’s email address. Name and description of the activity (short description, max 60 words). Role titles/positions within the activity (e.g. Chair, Organizer, Coordinator, Member, Participant, Volunteer, etc.). Description of each role/position including main tasks and responsibilities, in less than 50 words. Type of activity. Please refer to the page Types of Activities for the list and details. Category of activity (by group, department or organization). Please refer to the page Types of Activities for the list and details.New SRC ClubsTo be eligible for LEAP recognition, a new SRC Club: Must have been ratified by the SRC Board or Student Representatives. Must have completed the probationary period.The LEAP Coordinator will obtain confirmation from the SRC Clubs Manager about these two requirements for newly created clubs. Once confirmed, the activity will be added to the LEAP Activities Directory. Students will then be able to add the activity to their profile.For more information about SRC Clubs, please contact the SRC Clubs Manager at email@example.com or visit The BUbble.Off-campus volunteer workTo have a new off-campus volunteer opportunity approved and added to the program, please send an email to the LEAP Coordinator with the information listed below.The request can come from the student or the off-campus supervisor. Name of organization. Website (if available). Supervisor’s name and job title. Supervisor’s contact information (phone and email). Description of activity: describe the type of activity (special project, event, help with operations in a community center, etc.). Describe your main tasks and responsibilities as volunteer. Expected number of hours worked per semester (must be minimum 15 hrs. per semester for off-campus volunteer work to obtain LEAP recognition).
