Career Bootcamp

January 28th and 29th, 2022

$35 registration fee includes 2 lunches, snacks and a networking cocktail!

Bishop’s Career Bootcamp is an intensive career preparation event designed to provide the skills and knowledge required to do an effective job search process. Participants will attend workshops on résumé building, job search strategies, effective networking techniques, business etiquette, interview preparation, as well as a mock interview session (interview practice with an alumni). Career Bootcamp also includes a networking event with alumni, which is a great opportunity for students to practice their networking skills and gain a realistic understanding of the workforce.

  • Improve your résumé and cover letter (gain valuable advice on ways to highlight your qualifications, skills and achievements to target specific jobs).

Career Day

Career Day is an event organized by CATS, providing an excellent opportunity for students to meet with company representatives from a variety of industries. Career Day allows students to gather information about different companies, find out about entry-level positions and career paths. Career Day allows students and employers to network and explore opportunities in today’s workforce.

Whether you are graduating this year or just starting your first semester at Bishop’s, now is the best time to start participating in exploring career options. Career Day is an opportunity to gather insight into the industry, learn about a company’s hiring practices, find out about their training programs, and impress them with your skills and abilities. Therefore, if you think you are ready to make an impression and are focused on learning more about your employment opportunities, Career Day is the place for you. Remember, it is never too early to start networking.

Grad School Day

Grad School Day will be taking place virtually!

Grad School Day is an event for students who are considering pursuing graduate studies and want to obtain information on the different graduate programs available to them. It’s a great opportunity to network with university representatives, gain valuable information on admission processes and requirements, or ask questions you may have regarding graduate studies.
