Message from Principal Goldbloom to the Bishop’s Community

It is with profound sadness that I am writing to share devastating news with you.

While on vacation in the Dominican Republic with several Bishop’s classmates, Ben Houtman, a Williams School of Business student, died in an accident on Saturday.

Our Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Stine Linden-Andersen, has gone to the Dominican Republic to provide support to Ben’s family and the other Bishop’s students.

We know that this tragedy will be deeply felt by many members of our community. Ben was a very thoughtful and positive person with a wide circle of friends. He loved bringing people together and ensuring that no one felt excluded.

We will provide support and counselling to anyone who may need it. You may contact our counsellors at 819-822-9695.

Our hearts go out to Ben’s family and friends.
