Inaugural Psychological Health and Well-Being Conference to be Held at Bishop’s University

The Psychological Health and Well-being (PHWB) research cluster at Bishop’s University will be welcoming researchers and students from across the country for the first of a series of annual conferences hosted by this research cluster. This event, entitled Multidisciplinary Approaches to Psychological Health and Well-Being: the Synergy Between Research and Application, aims to bring together a national group of researchers and practitioners to encourage and support development of future research projects and possible collaborations.

Conference attendees will be given several opportunities to share their work and learn about the research being conducted across the country. The event will consist of symposia, speed networking, poster presentations and flash talks.

The keynote lecture, entitled Mental Health in the Academic Workplace: Possibilities and Prospects, will be given by Dr. Keith S. Dobson, of the University of Calgary’s Department of Psychology.
