Human rights of federally-sentenced persons

Bishop’s University will host Senator Kim Pate as well as Sheri Pranteau, an Anishnaabe and Cree woman who was formerly federally incarcerated, for a conference about the human rights of federally-sentenced persons at the inauguration of Incarcerated Spirits, the third annual prison art exhibition at Bishop’s University.

The event, hosted by the Centre for Justice Exchange and Bishop’s University’s Department of Sociology is free and open to all, and will take place at the McConnell Agora of the Library and Learning Commons on Wednesday, September 25, starting at 6 p.m.
