The Bishop’s – Champlain Campus Ministry is interfaith and offered to the entire campus community. Campus Ministry seeks to foster faith development, spirituality and social justice.
The Campus Minister provides pastoral services to all members of the campus community and is available to discuss in confidence whatever interests and concerns people may have.
Rev. Jesse Dymond
M.Div (Huron University College), M.A(Th) (University of Western Ontario)
New to Bishop’s University and Champlain Regional College in 2017, Jesse Dymond has served in parish ministry, youth ministry, and mental health chaplaincy in Ontario, and nationally in the context of online community. Ordained a Priest in the Anglican Church of Canada, he provides pastoral care to all members of the Bishop’s University/Champlain College community, regardless of faith or tradition. Currently pursuing a PhD in Human Relationships (Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy), his academic interests lie in the intersection between science and theology, as well as in the ethics of dual and multiple relationships in institutional and community contexts.
Tuesday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. or by appointment.
The Muslim Prayer Room is located in the basement of MacKinnon #5. Please contact the campus minister for the security code.
The Labyrinth is located on the lawn beside Divinity House. When the weather is good, there will be a drumming circle and an opportunity to learn how to walk the labyrinth from 2 – 3 p.m. on Fridays.
St. Mark’s Chapel is located next to McGreer and is open every day between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
