Meet the 2021-2022 RA team

Dorcas Adebogun – RA

Hello Everyone! My name is Dorcas Adebogun. I am going into my third year as a Biology major at Bishop’s University. Although I have been in Quebec for several years now, I spent most of my childhood growing in Lagos, a big city in Nigeria. Coming to study in a small city was a big leap of faith for me, but thanks to the wonderful experiences I have had and the wonderful people I have met during my time at Bishop’s University, I have successfully adapted to a different culture and environment. During my free time, I enjoy watching YouTube videos and blogging. Kickboxing is another hobby I enjoy. Kickboxing classes were offered at the sports plex at Bishop’s University before the pandemic. This is one of the activities I look forwards to continuing once things are close to normal again. I enjoy meeting new people and learning new things about cultures from different parts of the world. I am also very passionate about helping out whenever I can, so feel free to reach out to me if you are ever in need of help. I will be happy to help if I can or point you to places where you can find appropriate resources that could be helpful. I remember feeling a little homesick during my first few days away from home, but I had a great Resident Assistant who helped answer many questions I had and was also very helpful whenever I reached out, so don’t hesitate to reach out to me or other RAs if you ever feel homesick or need someone to talk to. We will be very happy to help. I am looking forwards to meeting you all in the coming semester.

John Enns-Wind – RA

Hi Gaiters! My name is John and I will be one of the Resident Assistants in Munster. I am a second year Liberal Arts and Modern Languages double major. I have enjoyed the energy and atmosphere at Bishop’s, as well as all of the opportunities and the people I have met. I have been all over Canada, having spent the majority of my time moving around Saskatchewan, though most recently I have lived in New Brunswick. I enjoy reading, watching TV or movies, baking, as well as listening to or playing music. I highly recommend the walking/biking paths that are very easily accessible from the campus, as they are beautiful. This year I will be one of the leaders of the Bishop’s Bees Club. We run events throughout the year, and I encourage all of you to get involved with what campus has to offer as there’s something for everyone. I’ve enjoyed travelling and experiencing different parts of Canada, and being at Bishop’s has been a great opportunity for that. The small campus allows me to make closer connections with friends, classmates, as well as professors. All of this is complimented by the beautiful campus, town, and area that we’re located in. If you have any questions, concerns, or want to chat with me my email is, or swing by my room. I’m so excited to meet all of you!

Meet your Residence Life Coordinator (RLC)

Aaricia du Bois de Nevele

Aaricia du Bois de NeveleHi everyone!

My name is Aaricia but most people on campus know me as Reese, so feel free to call me either! I am one of your Residence Life Coordinators at Bishop’s. As a member of the professional staff, my role is to help foster communities that are conducive to personal growth and academic success. I’m also here to make sure that everyone’s experience in our residences is both safe and fun!

During my undergraduate studies at Bishop’s, I explored various disciplines such as Psychology, Japanese Studies, and Religion. I also had the amazing opportunity to travel to Japan for a 10 months internship in Yamaguchi Prefecture, where I taught English to children and learned about Japanese culture. My favourite hobbies are working out and reading. I also enjoy learning new languages (I’m currently trying to learn Luxembourgish!) and spending time with Duchesse, my big fluffy cat.

Whether or not it is your first year at Bishop’s, I hope that it will be filled with new learning opportunities and memorable events, and that you will forge lifelong connections on our beautiful campus. To stay up to date on guidelines and events happening in Residence, I highly suggest you follow us on social media! Our handle for both Instagram and Facebook is @UBishopsRezLife.

For any Residence Life questions, you can also email and someone from the Residence Life Staff team will be happy to get back to you.
