When considering universities, Bishop’s stood out for me as it dedicated itself to its students’ all-around development and provided resources that allow students to get involved and pursue their own endeavours.

My favourite moment at BU so far, was taking part in the European Union Study Tour and Internship Program. Over three weeks, forty students from across Canada travelled to Europe and had the opportunity to interact with and hear from a variety of European leaders and policy-makers that are actively involved in the daily operations of the European Union. These experiences better equipped me with the necessary tools to utilize after graduation as I explore career options in the area of global politics and governance.

Bishop’s is truly a hidden gem! Its intimate size makes it super easy to engage with your professors, apply for funding to pursue your ideas outside of the classroom, and take on leadership roles on a variety of projects that are either supported by the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) or that you bring forward. At Bishop’s, the limit of your experience is only limited by your own ideas and efforts. Put your creativity to the test and gain a ton of practical experience by not being afraid to challenge yourself and sharing your point of view.
