One of the missions of the Bishop’s International Office is to support international and new to Canada students on campus in their integration into their new academic environment, including creating opportunities for them to break isolation and create moments of exchange amongst them. Weekly Unwind

The purpose of this activity is to provide a space where international and New-to-Canada students can come hang out, play some fun games, and have delicious snacks. Basically, to relax and socialize.

Heart to Heart

In this new activity, you are invited to discuss topics of importance to you and share your experiences with one another. The objective of the activity is to provide a space for meaningful and serious conversations chosen organically by participants and facilitated by a professional.

Past events

International Student Brunch

Our 1st International Student Brunch was held on February 19, 2023 at GAIT.

On this occasion, almost 180 international students as well as administrators, faculty, and staff, has attended. During this event, people were invited to enjoy food and discussion with other international students and members of the Bishop’s University community. After the meal, we had the chance to move outside for a tasting of delicious maple sugar on snow. Here are some souvenir pictures of the event:
