Ces travaux ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que Kepler-385 est un syst\u00e8me de sept exoplan\u00e8tes dynamiquement actif et ont permis de mieux comprendre les architectures des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s orbitales des exoplan\u00e8tes en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-105550\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ubishops.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/KEPLER_KOI_2433_01_alt_v02-1000px.jpg\" alt=\"KEPLER KOI 2433\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ubishops.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/KEPLER_KOI_2433_01_alt_v02-1000px.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.ubishops.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/KEPLER_KOI_2433_01_alt_v02-1000px-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ubishops.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/KEPLER_KOI_2433_01_alt_v02-1000px-150x84.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.ubishops.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/KEPLER_KOI_2433_01_alt_v02-1000px-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Un <a href=\"https:\/\/kona.ubishops.ca\/architecture\/Orbital_Periods__etc__of_Kepler_Planets.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">article d\u00e9crivant le nouveau catalogue<\/a> a \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9 le 2 novembre dans la revue <a href=\"https:\/\/iopscience.iop.org\/journal\/2632-3338\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>The Planetary Science Journal<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Notre r\u00e9vision du catalogue Kepler des exoplan\u00e8tes fournit la premi\u00e8re v\u00e9ritable analyse uniforme des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s des exoplan\u00e8tes\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Jason Rowe, titulaire de la chaire de recherche du Canada en astrophysique des exoplan\u00e8tes et professeur \u00e0 l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 Bishop&rsquo;s, au Qu\u00e9bec (Canada). \u00ab\u00a0Les am\u00e9liorations apport\u00e9es \u00e0 toutes les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s plan\u00e9taires et stellaires nous ont permis de mener une \u00e9tude approfondie des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s fondamentales des syst\u00e8mes exoplan\u00e9taires afin de mieux comprendre les exoplan\u00e8tes et de comparer directement ces mondes lointains \u00e0 notre propre Syst\u00e8me solaire, et de nous concentrer sur les d\u00e9tails de syst\u00e8mes individuels tels que Kepler-385.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9tude continue des donn\u00e9es fournies par le t\u00e9lescope spatial Kepler de la NASA a permis de d\u00e9voiler le premier syst\u00e8me compos\u00e9 de sept plan\u00e8tes dont chacune d\u2019entre elles baignent dans une plus grande chaleur rayonnant de leur \u00e9toile h\u00f4te proportionnellement que n\u2019importe quelle plan\u00e8te dans notre Syst\u00e8me solaire. Contrairement \u00e0 toutes nos plan\u00e8tes voisines, les sept plan\u00e8tes de ce syst\u00e8me, baptis\u00e9 Kepler-385, sont plus grandes que la Terre mais plus petites que Neptune. Il s&rsquo;agit de l&rsquo;un des rares syst\u00e8mes plan\u00e9taires connus \u00e0 contenir plus de six plan\u00e8tes confirm\u00e9es ou candidates. Le syst\u00e8me Kepler-385 figure parmi les points saillants du nouveau catalogue Kepler, qui contient pr\u00e8s de 4 400 plan\u00e8tes candidates, dont plus de 700 syst\u00e8mes multiplan\u00e9taires.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-105559\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ubishops.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/KEPLER_KOI_2433_03_v02-1000px.jpg\" alt=\"KEPLER KOI 2433\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ubishops.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/KEPLER_KOI_2433_03_v02-1000px.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.ubishops.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/KEPLER_KOI_2433_03_v02-1000px-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ubishops.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/KEPLER_KOI_2433_03_v02-1000px-150x84.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.ubishops.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/KEPLER_KOI_2433_03_v02-1000px-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Nous avons dress\u00e9 la liste la plus pr\u00e9cise \u00e0 ce jour des plan\u00e8tes candidates de Kepler et de leurs propri\u00e9t\u00e9s\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Jack Lissauer, chercheur au Centre de recherche Ames de la NASA, dans la Silicon Valley, en Californie, et auteur principal de l&rsquo;article pr\u00e9sentant le nouveau catalogue. \u00ab\u00a0La mission Kepler de la NASA a d\u00e9couvert la majorit\u00e9 des exoplan\u00e8tes connues, et ce nouveau catalogue permettra aux astronomes d&rsquo;en savoir plus sur leurs caract\u00e9ristiques\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Au centre du syst\u00e8me Kepler-385 se trouve une \u00e9toile semblable au Soleil, environ 10% plus grande et 5% plus chaude que le Soleil. Les deux plan\u00e8tes les plus proches de l\u2019\u00e9toile centrale, toutes deux l\u00e9g\u00e8rement plus grandes que la Terre, sont probablement rocheuses et pourraient avoir une fine atmosph\u00e8re. Les cinq autres plan\u00e8tes sont plus grandes &#8211; chacune ayant un rayon environ deux fois plus grand que celui de la Terre &#8211; et devraient \u00eatre envelopp\u00e9es d&rsquo;une atmosph\u00e8re \u00e9paisse.<\/p>\n<p>La capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 d\u00e9crire les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s du syst\u00e8me Kepler-385 de mani\u00e8re aussi d\u00e9taill\u00e9e t\u00e9moigne de la qualit\u00e9 de ce dernier catalogue d&rsquo;exoplan\u00e8tes. Alors que les derniers catalogues de la mission Kepler visaient \u00e0 produire des listes optimis\u00e9es pour mesurer la fr\u00e9quence des plan\u00e8tes autour d&rsquo;autres \u00e9toiles, cette \u00e9tude se concentre sur la production d&rsquo;une liste compl\u00e8te qui fournit des informations pr\u00e9cises sur chacun des syst\u00e8mes, rendant ainsi possible des d\u00e9couvertes comme celle de Kepler-385.<\/p>\n<p>Le nouveau catalogue am\u00e9liore les mesures des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s astrales et calcule de fa\u00e7on plus pr\u00e9cise le chemin de chaque plan\u00e8te transitoire autour de son \u00e9toile h\u00f4te.
