Mariana De la Rosa will be live in concert at Bishop’s University to debut her first album, Rosas y Espinas (Roses and Thorns). Exploring the dynamic between love and despair, from sincere friendship to family ties, to love transcending even death, each chapter of this complex feeling is unveiled with infinite sensitivity.

Film Screening of “Humus”

6:00 P.M. – Nicolls 004

The Québecois documentary follows a farming couple that has implemented sustainable farming techniques and practices.

This film screening will also be an opportunity to bring people together and talk about climate change and the potential of sustainable agriculture. Assistant Director Sylvie Lapointe will be joining the event and will direct a Q&A with the audience after the viewing. Popcorn and drinks will be provided!

The story of an ambitious scholar who made a bargain with the devil, Dr. Faustus has inspired writers and artists through the centuries. In Bishop’s Drama’s dark academia contemporary staging of Christopher Marlowe’s 1604 quarto version, we ask the questions about the pleasures and dangers of forbidden knowledge.

Location: Foreman Art Gallery

For the 26th Bishop’s University Fine Arts Graduating Student Exhibition, student artists Marie Constance Hountondji, Gabrielle Gagné, Camille Hétu, Christian Jimenez, Annika Morin, Alexis Nova, Marie-Pierre Ranger and Bashar Shammas present disparate works that reflect their journey through the undergraduate program.

The gallery will be open weekly, Tuesday to Saturday from 12:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.

Bishop’s University Film Festival – 10th Anniversary

Bishop’s University Film Festival is inviting you join them to celebrate its 10th anniversary! The annual gala consists of premiering student made movies and rewarding outstanding works in the following ceremony.

The competition opened to anyone who wants to enter, so everyone’s diverse background helps enrich the range of creativity of the gala’s program. The amateur filmmakers will compete for the following prizes: best narrative, best non-narrative, best actor, best technique, best documentary, best research, special recognition, and audience choice!

Experience the Solar Eclipse at Bishop’s University

Date: April 8th, 2024

Location: Bishops University – Coulter Field

A total solar eclipse will be visible on the afternoon of April 8, 2024, and the Bishop’s University campus is directly in the path of totality. Bishop’s University invites the community to a series of activities around Coulter Field to offer a memorable eclipse-viewing experience in the region.

Bishop’s will be providing glasses free of charge for registered guests to our on-campus eclipse viewing event!
