Physics & Astronomy Seminar: On the influence of Gravity on the Quantum Hall Effect

The Quantum Hall Effect(QHE) is the quantum-mechanical version of a classical effect known as the Hall Effect. This effect creates a voltage difference across an electrical conductor, transverse to an applied electric field in the conductor and an applied magnetic field. This voltage difference causes a resistance in the conductor known as Hall resistivity. I will focus on the influence of an external gravitational field on the QHE.
