Vice-Principal Academic Dr. Miles Turnbull appointed for a second term

Dear Bishop’s community,

I am very pleased to advise you that the Board of Governors has accepted my recommendation that Dr. Miles Turnbull be appointed for a second five-year term as Vice-Principal Academic as of July 1, 2019. He will also be responsible for the research portfolio.

I would like to thank Miles for his dedication and significant contributions to Bishop’s. The University confronted several major financial challenges during Miles’ first term. Nonetheless, we made progress in many aspects of our teaching and research. I am confident that under Miles’ leadership we are positioned for a period of significant ambition and achievement, particularly in the academic and research dimensions of the University.
