Celebration of Life Ceremony on March 14

Dear Bishop’s Community,

On Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 2:30 PM in Centennial Theatre, the University community will come together to celebrate Ben Houtman’s life. Members of Ben’s family from British Columbia will attend. Ben was a very thoughtful and positive person with a wide circle of friends. He loved bringing people together and ensuring that no one felt excluded. We expect that many students, staff and faculty will want to attend in order to honour Ben’s memory and to demonstrate to his family how much he was loved.

The Celebration of Life Ceremony on Wednesday will commence at 2:30 PM in Centennial Theatre and finish around 3:30 PM. Please know that the University will cancel all classes from 2:30 – 3:30 on Wednesday, March 14 so that everyone who wishes to attend may do so.

We recommend you consider arriving early to secure a seat.
