Interested in Bishop’s Drama?

Interested in Bishop’s Drama? Our Department is happy to answer your questions. Audition Speeches

A few simple Do’s and Don’ts of auditioning:

Do: …select a speech by a character who is close to your own age

Do: …read the whole play from which the speech has been taken

Do: …wear neutral clothing (no T-shirts with slogans or splashy graphics ) that allows freedom of movement

Don’t: …go over the stated time limit. (3 min. usually means 3 min.)

Don’t: …direct your speech to the auditioner if you are doing a stage audition
