What to do when you arrive:

Participants must arrive on the first day of their session, between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. and go to the Marjorie Donald House (see campus map, B11). You will have to complete a short oral communication and comprehension assessment with a professor in order to determine your classroom level.

Students will also receive a welcome package including the complete schedule for the duration of the program, a key to the residence, and a student ID.

After settling into their room, students will gather at the Dewhurst Dining Hall where they will be introduced to all the other Explore – ESL Immersion participants at the welcome BBQ. General information about the program will be provided followed by a guided campus tour.
