A NEW WEBSITE FOR BISHOP’S UNIVERSITY

A NEW WEBSITE FOR BISHOP’S UNIVERSITY

Bishop’s University launched its redesigned website today. The website has undergone a comprehensive redesign to connect the institution’s strong brand image to its target audiences: prospective students, their parents, current students, alumni, donors, faculty and staff.

As a critical piece of its student recruitment and communication strategy, the University recognized the importance of the site and focused its efforts on the following features:

Responsive designOur new design makes it easy to view the website on both desktop and mobile devices.

Audience-centricThe content on homepage is customized for each of our main audiences.

Story-drivenOur values are grounded in the student experience. Our story and social media sections capture the essence of what’s happening on (and off) campus and what it means to #BleedPurple.

Visual identityA crisp design and stunning photography unify the clean, modern look.

The new interface offers users a pleasing visual experience while making navigation easier than ever.  Users can find everything; from general information about the University, program information, news, stories about current students, faculty, alumni and more, as well as tools that are commonly used by students, faculty and staff.

Another change is the progressive elimination of the parallel Gobishops.ca website. Now prospective students simply need to point their browser to Ubishops.ca to find out everything they need to know about the Bishop’s experience. The Gaiters.ca website remains easily accessible from the Ubishops.ca portal.

The University is proud to have partnered with Lemieux Bédard, a communications and advertising firm located in Sherbrooke, Quebec, where the institution is also located. The firm provided its expertise in strategy, content development, design, and translation to make the project a reality.

We invite you to visit the website and check out the brand new look for the university’s digital presence: www.ubishops.ca
