We are proud of the success of Bishop’s graduates – all of them. Bishop’s graduates are leaders in business, education, science, community and volunteer service…in fact in every walk of life. We would like to honour and share in those successes. By highlighting our graduates’ achievements with prospective and current students, as well as fellow alumni, we will be able to demonstrate the quality of a Bishop’s education and instil pride among members of the Bishop’s community.
In its second year, The Top 10 After 10 program is more than a recognition event; the University also wishes to provide networking, professional and personal development opportunities for members of this special group, while also facilitating mentorship among program members and others in the Bishop’s community.
We received an excellent response for membership in the second edition of Bishop’s Top 10 After 10. A Selection and Advisory Committee comprised of prominent Bishop’s graduates and friends was once again very impressed with the quality and diversity of the candidates, whose calibre made the selection process a difficult one.
The second group of ten winners will be announced in the September 2011 issue of BU News magazine. A lunch on campus is schedule for Friday, October 14 to induct the second group of ten. All alumni and friends are welcomed to attend this fun event!
Inductees will:
- be featured prominently in Bishop’s publications, our web site and in our media outreach;
- be permanently displayed on the Top 10 After 10 wall on campus;
- attend a special ceremony and celebratory dinner on campus;
- share experiences and advice with current Bishop’s students;
- participate in Bishop's activities (alumni and recruitment) in their respective cities;
- enjoy membership in this group for a period of five years from the year they are inducted.
