- When you want to discuss issues of University policy and student life in general - to become informed, voice criticisms or demonstrate support.
- To explore a complaint informally and confidentially first and evaluate your options.
- To make suggestions for the improvement of Student Services, Ancillary Services and the quality of campus life.
- To bring forward complaint about areas under the jurisdiction of the Dean which cannot first be resolved with the manager of the service in question.
- Regarding issues of discipline, safety, academic standing and resources for assistance, special funding for student projects, and alcohol permits.
- To talk about programs, facilities and issues of joint concern to the S.R.C. and the University.
- In the event of the death of a student, please follow procedures.

All individual meetings with the Dean are kept strictly confidential. In keeping with provincial law, your name and the nature of the discussion will not be revealed to anyone (including parents) without your permission or except as necessary, with legally authorized persons, to help resolve your problem.
