Purple Letter Award (nomination form)
This award was created to recognize, each year, the students who put great effort into their contribution to the school or community. This award is based on effort, participation, and contribution to Bishop’s not necessarily on being the best or the most talented.
The Purple Letter Award is for those who have done nothing spectacular but have remained dedicated – the unsung heroes.

Paterson Award
The Joan & Alex Paterson Award is presented to a graduating student who, during his or her years at Bishop’s University, contributes the most to volunteer work and activities in the off campus community. This monetary award is presented annually at the SRC Awards Ceremony in March.
