Special posthumous Research and Creativity Award given to Dr. Gerry Coulter

A few months ago, the Bishop’s University community mourned the loss of one of its longstanding and most beloved members. Dr. Gerry Coulter, Professor of Sociology, tragically left us far too soon, before he was given proper acknowledgement of his numerous achievements in research and scholarship. We are therefore pleased to announce that Dr. Gerry Coulter will be given a Special Research and Creativity Award during the Research Week Closing Reception on Thursday, March 30th at noon in Centennial Lobby. His wife, Dr. Mary Ellen Donnan, will be present to accept the award on his behalf.

Bishop’s University faculty members, staff members and students are all warmly invited to come out and celebrate Dr. Coulter’s important body of work on this occasion.
