Don't just attend BU - live it!
Residence is more than just a room in a building, and far, far more than just an apartment on campus. Choosing to live in residence means involving yourself in a community of people who are about your age, share your interests, and are all at about the same stage in their lives.
Meet People
In residence, you will be able to meet and bond with students from across Canada and around the world. You will belong to a network of students that share friendships that extend far beyond your years in residence.
On-Campus Convenience
Residence is also a convenient lifestyle choice. By staying on-campus, you have immediate access to the library, athletic complex, academic buildings, recreational facilities and student support services - including a health clinic, an employment centre and a number of computer labs. Your placement on campus - and enforced quiet hours, (particularly around exam time) - will also allow you to concentrate on your studies like never before.
Few residences are like those at Bishop's. We're located on a picturesque green (or white, depending on the season) campus bordering bike trails, forest paths and a golf course, with the Massawippi river running alongside it. On-campus life at Bishop's is not something you're going to want to miss!
The Community Experience
The Bishop's residence community has already given countless BU students the chance to learn more about themselves, take responsibility for their part in the residence community, and to start their university career on the right foot with one of the best experiences of their lives. Join them - and us - for an unforgettable first step in your post-secondary academic career!
On-Campus: The Real Deal
After their first year, many students are faced with the dilemma of where they want to live for the next academic year. Rather than having to go through the headaches of searching for a nice place to live off-campus, why not stay on-campus? More and more upper-year students are opting to live in residence rather than be off-campus. Check out this brochure for a head to head comparison of Rez vs Off-Campus.
